The Norwegian Armed Forces are installing birdhouses nationwide as part of their climate and environmental strategy to promote biodiversity. This initiative supports vulnerable species and enhances natural habitats in military areas without compromising operational capability. During the launch at Akershus Fortress, Chief of Defense Eirik Kristoffersen emphasized that while no one can do everything, everyone can do more.

  • It makes me sad that I was born in a country that doesn't give a fuck about the environment when I read things like this. I'd love to do projects like this for a living, but... no, wrong country lmao.

    Edit: lemme know when a place like Norway takes trans refugees from the US. I'd love to spend my time walking in forests and building birdhouses.
