Hi there! I'm trying to find a good not necessarily note-taking app, something like Joplin or Notion (sluggish and doesn't fit). There I could create a grid of images with captions, without having to use a whiteboard or anything too complex.
I use OneNote. I think it’s Microsoft’s best product
Seconded. I hated it forever but once I started using it, I really started liking it.
I'm currently developing a note taking app for the purpose of taking "quick notes", so I'm curious about use case? Are you trying to create diagrams? Or just take a few pictures to save as a group?
latter I think, i have many low-res pictures and want to place them compactly
hmmm makes sense, thanks! I think that's one of the goals I'm trying to address, but I'm still a ways off.
Currently, my personal system for storing photos is just a folder with a file-naming system, unfortunately. 🥲. But depending on how you view your filesystem, maybe a finder app or a photo-viewing app is what you're looking for?

^ I haven't used this app, but using as example. But apps like this and apple photos etc I've seen often have an option to display "title" or smth
Obsidian has plugins that can do something like this I think.
