Returned Baby Barred Owl

From Raptor Center of Tampa Bay

A young barred owl came out of the tree 12 days ago. It had a sibling and a parent, but he could not stay up in the tree. The nest was not found so he came into rehab. So when he was big enough to climb up and all around the tree, we decided to return it back home today and the reunion with its family was successful. It climbed right up and mom's showing maternal instincts. We are so happy when we can return babies to their family.
