I'm an adult.
This is something that I wish I could work on, personally. Not smoking first thing in the morning. I'd like to try and get to a point where I only need to light up at the end of the day when it's more worth it anyway because there's nothing and no one to bother you. But, especially when I've been out for a couple of days, I always think to myself, "let's just get high early for today as a treat, then from tomorrow I'll be responsible." Then next thing, four days have passed in a blur and I'm running out.
What worked for me is doing a tolerance break of 3 weeks. Eventually it also helped me stop smoking(now I just vape oil).
But the point is that after the t break I remembered again what it feels like to be stoned and in amazing headspace, and from that point I only use it when I can totally commit to it.
Yeah the furthest I've managed to make it (intentionally and not by just being broke) was 1 week lol. It's fucking hard raw dogging reality, that's for sure.
But you're absolutely right as well. When you smoke daily (and usually all day), it doesn't even really affect you that much anymore after a while. It takes the edge off and makes life easier to deal with but doesn't actually get you high anymore. And I'd love to reclaim that and turn it back into a special occasion with snacks and funny movies or whatever. Like the old days.

Hey. I don’t tell you what to do. It’s the weekend.
Smoking at night is a lot better imo. Peace and quiet, nobody around to bother you, and no potential surprises or responsibilities to deal with such as work calling you or suddenly having to drive somewhere.
Yeah but sometimes a stoned walk through the woods during the day is nice. Have to remember responsibilities of course and some people's work better for day smoking. As long as you are mindful of what you need and should do, balance and all that.
I just didn’t get up early enough to get stoned before noon.
People should be allowed to be on a mild amount of drugs anywhere, anytime, as long as they aren't doing something life/death or like operating heavy machinery.
