Mullvad DNS profiles
GitHub - mullvad/encrypted-dns-profiles: macOS and iOS profiles to configure our DNS over TLS and DNS over HTTPS service. Can be applied with human interaction, or via MDM.
1: how many of you have used it before and do you like it over (non-foss) NextDNS?
2: Which one should I use if I want to block ads on all apps (iOS), DoT or DoH?
I’m using one of them but it blocks Twitter/X for some reason.
I have been using Mullvad Extended for a long time. It is great, but does have many false positives. They sometimes block some Indian government domains.
I would say DoT is more than fine. Here are their official instructions.
I use base. Super straightforward and works perfectly with the rest of my set up. I also use Mullvad VPN (when I need one) and Leta (when I just need a simple search and not for images). Rarely use the browser.
