Israel's PM, in a nationally televised address, said "what we will do to our enemies in the coming days will reverberate with them for generations".
Oh shit.
“We have only started striking Hamas,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said. “What we will do to our enemies in the coming days will reverberate with them for generations.”
You already have assholes like Graham screaming we should be bombing Iran. Hopefully, the strike carrier is enough of a deterrent to stop the escalation, and Biden can get them to simmer down, but every day it's inching towards something crazy. What the Israelis said about "what's about to happen will reverberate through generations" is not sounding great.
Why are actions (actions not bombing!) against Iran a bad thing? They are threatening the west all the time, openly supporting the Russians, openly supporting the Hamas...they are not exactly the nicest country in the world.
They are under continous sanctions by the west, and when offering peace trump simply unilaterary exited the treaty. They have zero reasons to be "nice" towards the west.
