I am absolutely at least a little mad about having to block extra bad comms. Who said I wasn't? Do we still do the "u mad haha" thing

One would imagine that, given the option, one could block the comm and move on with one's life silently.
Blocking something and then announcing it is just looking for sanctimonious validation so you can feel special and superior about your big powerful choice to not look at something you don't like. Like places such as r/justunsubbed.
I'm not implying that's what OP is doing btw. OP is doing a useful PSA.

reminder because i brought it up in another thread:
if you got banned from a comm that you subscribed to at one point, you then can't block said comm in the manner in this screenshot
go to https://hexbear.net/settings or click your username in the top right and click settings. from there, there's a "blocks" tab where you can manage any user, comm or instance blocks

ill jump on the hatewagon. blockin the fakenews comm is very high on the list of things ta do when i make a new acct.
