“The Bellmaker” by Brian Jacques is part of his Redwall series, which kinda raised me. It’s amazing how much of this I remember.

Fuck. Me. Grabbing the audio immediately this just brought me right back to reading these under the blankets at night.
I have no idea how I had never heard of Redwall until last year when Magic's Bloomburrow set released. I grew up watching the Secret of NIMH, reading the comic, Redwall should have been the next logical step... but I missed it.
I also missed out on Redwall... I knew of it's existence, but somehow never got around to reading it... Until this year. I'm well into my 30's but I have enjoyed it so far! Definitely worth the read.

Red wall was awesome I’d hoped to pass my books along to the next generation to enjoy, but Print media is for old people now. I guess.
True! Although, for my own enjoyment I could see myself going to the library just to relive the entire experience. Maybe I’d even read it before the sun came up, just to remember what it was like to dread and fear my mother’s company. 😂
I watched the show and then read the books in grade 7...my son is now obsessed with them in grade 1! They have contributed so much to his drive to read. Such a fantastic series.
I haven’t seen the show yet, but the audiobooks are amazing!
