Marvel Rivals Question - How to Play Hulk?

Any Marvel Rivals players on Lemmy? I didn't see a community so I'll just ask here. How are you supposed to play the Hulk?

People say Hulk is OP, so I feel like I should learn to play him as a vanguard, but I have a feeling it's just because of his team-ups. Every time I jump in with this guy I just immediately get hit with a bunch of damage and CC by their whole team, have to shield, then jump out, then wait to get healed before jumping in again. I feel like I'm not holding any space or doing anything with this guy. Venom feels like a more workable version of him.

  • That's how he's played. He's a diver. You jump in and try to distract and/or kill a squishy or healer while your team pushes in behind you. Then you jump out if the push didn't go well.

Edit: I would also say don't wait to get healed. Learn the heal locations or run to the spawn for a full heal so you can get back in the fight quicker. I don't play anymore but I did play a lot of the tanks.

  • Hulk has a higher skill ceiling and isn't as good as he used to be in this season. Keep your shield for dangerous situations or for getting out when you're too deep in. You should try diving their backline and stunning a healer to pick them off then jumping back to your team.

But yes, he's not that great unless you're in high level play (grandmaster+). He's also useless against flying enemies.
