It could just be a bad joke.
- Indeed. Try talking to a few hundred people each day whilst keeping the banter fun and interesting.
  Someone in this doesn't understand how being a cashier works.

- Definitely just a dumb joke that got taken a bit too literally.
- Says more about the poster that (if it's real) should have just said "heh yeah" and left. If it's not real, then wtf is their life where they need to come up with B's like this? Cashiers have it hard enough
  
  Im going on a limb and guessing this question was never asked directly to the cashier.
