I was just thinking the other day that it is a shame I didn't get a chance to use Lonestar this Summer. Luckily, Lonestar fits the Old West theme today with scent notes like sage, lemon, magnolia, Texas cedar, oakmoss, leather, and hay.
History 101 actually brought the gunfight with Clary sage, leather, gunsmoke, smoke, dirt, tobacco, and sawdust.
In any gunfight, there's the quick and the dead. Gravefruit tied together the smokey woods, magnolia, and Texas cedar to finish off the shave.
I've had this shavette for a while, bit this is the first time I'm using it. It has a plastic point protruding beyond the corner of the blade. Doubtless meant as a safety feature, it just makes it difficult shave close to the nostrils. Split DE shavettes have no soul. Sad.
After the Weck [and you talked me into that], the only shavette I've even considered is the Tedalus Essence, but that's mostly due to how cool it looks.
My one-pass few-variables shaves continue. Kismet blades are nice, this went better but maybe it was the soap--my Canadian MdC tribute showed up quickly (snagged one of the last two they had at amazon) and wow, the tub was so full it didn't quite close. Needed to add water as I unexpectedly loaded a sizable amount of soap, I think I expected it to load slower being so hard. Very slick, and very unscented unlike MWF which I find stronger than I expected (though unobjectionable).
