Nirvana unplugged and Alice in Chains unplugged are two of the best musical performances I've ever seen.
- Completely agree - I've watched/listened countless times. Peak MTV.
- The AIC one is so painful to watch for me, Layne looks about as healthy as he was at the time. Like an apparition.
Kurt’s vocals on this are so potent
God I love this album... it permanently lives in my record player.

Now imagine them doing it together and making a whole album of Lead Belly covers.... we all really missed out on that because Kurt wanted Mark to sing but Mark was too intimidated by Kurt's popularity. They were best friends and Kurt might have killed himself because of how is fame was ruining his personal relationships (drugs didn't help for sure!)
I wish Kurt was alive so we never would have been subjected to foo foo fighters.....
