This is genuinely a very nice song, if put into context. She got so much undeserved shit for the original, and in the end, embraced it while making a name for herself in hyperpop (and I do like her hyperpop stuff, also dorian electrica etc.).
As someone in the youtube comments said, this song is the embodiment of dancing on the grave of cringe culture, and we're better off for it.
I honestly love that song. I know it's the least acceptable song to like, but I think it slaps. It's not a masterpiece or anything, but it's got a vibe.
