Hundreds of anti-racism protestors defied an official ban and marched in central Paris Saturday on the anniversary of the death of a Black man who died in 2016 while in police custody.
It's a country where workers go on strike regularly. I'm not surprised that the same people won't listen to their rulers telling to stop. (Didn't the French do the same to give equal rights to women iirc?)
I find it hard to believe that the folks in France who work in government have forgotten that protesting is the compromise people made to have their voices heard... The alternative being the separation of heads from necks as the first step in the revolution.
