Leaker states that Remastered version of Quake II will be announced at QuakeCon 2023 (August 10 to 13) for PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (as well as Game Pass).

that's kind of exciting
- Unless you have a gaming PC with a ray tracing capable GPU of course. I think quake II rtx will probably remain the nicer way to play this
