Where is the problem? It says "1600 meter", which is perfectly fine and easy to scale. Initially, I was worried because they started with this "foot" thing while still having the word "science" in their name.

World's tallest buildings does have the whiff of clickbait. Your heart was in the right place championing standard measurements, however your feet (pun intended) are firmly planted in the scientifically non-standard imperial camp.
Science's love for metric is as universal as gravity. Imperial has no place here.
