USA TODAY Sports' Nate Davis broke down all 272 regular-season games to determine the win-loss records for each NFL team in 2023.
An abbreviated summary:
Bills 13-4 Jets 12-5 Dolphins 11-6 Lions 11-6 Chiefs 11-6 Ravens 11-6 Steelers 11-6 Cowboys 9-8 Raiders 3-14
I always have to remember this time of year that nobody knows anything.
28 0 ReplyAnd just how much can change with unexpected player injuries, players playing above expectations, players playing below expectations. There is never a time where you can accurately guess how a season is gonna go.
2 0 ReplyAnd if they don't try to predict how the season will go, many of these people would have nothing to write about!

RIP Patriots if he's right tho. Three 11+ win teams in your division is rough
9 0 ReplyAs a Pats fan, there’s not much to get excited for right now. I’m just hoping we can somehow perform acceptably but I’m not holding my breath.
4 0 ReplyBucs fan with the same feel. If we're able to keep out 5 dubs, I'd be alright with that

Any reason you decided to throw the Raiders in your summary? Just for shade?
7 0 ReplyNot at all. The Raiders may struggle this year, but they are way better than a 3 win team.
5 0 ReplyIf Jimmy G goes down early in the season, I could see it. Also it's the Raiders, they're almost always worse than the sum of their parts.

I assume because three wins is laughable. I don't think the raiders are in great shape by any means, buts it's almost hard to only win 3 games.
3 0 ReplySince '02 we've had two sub-4-win seasons. And eight seasons of 4 or fewer wins, including the year after we went to the Super Bowl.
We've been on the cusp of 3-wins for a third of our seasons over the last 2 decades. Last year we had 6 wins with a playoff team before downgrading.
Maybe 3-wins is a bit of a stretch for expectations. But it would not be at all surprising.

This Bills fan sees no problem at all with this analysis....
4 0 ReplyChiefs back down to normal this year it seems. Where are the Bengals. Guess I’ll have to go read.
4 0 ReplyWhere are the Bengals
12-5 and winning the division according to the article. They just didn’t list them in the tldr.
And to me that’s iffy depending on Burrow & his injury and the length of time to recover.
4 0 ReplyEvery year is the same prediction for the chiefs: "regress to the mean"; if you put any stock in any sports reporter, you're dumber than they are.
3 1 ReplyHard agree. The AFC West is so hard to make look like a race. The only way to try to stir up interest is to talk about the Chiefs losing ground.
3 0 ReplyNever do myself :) As a ‘Dotte native have heard it for a almost 5 decades :)
