Being condemned to infinite suffering for finite sins isn't cruel or unusual punishment.
Also God controls everything and knows everything... so he could have prevented your sin if he were all powerful.

Interestingly I have seen christians on the Fediverse, but most of the ones I've found tend to prefer the microblogging zones like mastodon and firefish, likely because it feels more like twitter to them.
