I'm in the middle of a battle mage run. I make silly mistakes though. So many times I've died and realised I had a full waterskin. Hopefully this time I'll manage it. I'm just a poor strategist.
I've been playing this game for so many years, it took me a while to win my first game, but after that the wins started trickling in, I mean, it's still hard, but start having a better sense of what to do to have a decent run.
Stuff like using doors or tall grass to make sure you hit an enemy, funneling then through narrow corridors, using pile of bones to know of an equipment is cursed or not. With time all these things add up and you notice your doing them automatically.
Keep at it, you'll eventually get that win, mage is probably the best one to get that first win
I'm playing Shattered on Android, I'm not sure how it's different, but this game is hard man. One day we'll beat it lol
Shattered is what I'm on too, the other week actually reached the final boss, I didn't win but I'm classing it as one.
Yeah I've been playing this game on and off for the past couple years and this is the first time I've ever beaten it. You'll get it I'm sure :)

Getting to floor 0 on a return run is much harder than what it was before (although it was made slightly easier in the past two patches), congrats!
Thanks, the chains where what got me up I reckon, I was able to skip through a bunch of walls to escape some tight situations.
