Apple removes Russian-language podcast produced by Meduza, an independent media outlet, from Apple Podcasts
Meduza has received a notice from Apple, informing our media that our flagship podcast “What Happened” has been removed from the Apple Podcasts streaming platform.
Earlier this summer, the Russian state censorship authority had asked Apple to block the show. Apple didn't provide any reason for the decision, Meduza says.
Yet another reason to avoid Apple's garbage.
Eh, I mean they probably did it because of russian government pressure but ultimately I've seen a lot of russian opposition media hold what are questionable views regarding Ukraine, often a colonial or imperialists view.
They don't want war, they just want to do these things peacefully to impose russia on Ukraine etc.
At this point I couldn't give two shits what happens in russia, what's important is helping Ukraine.
