I don't think banning this material is necessary. But let's not pretend this isn't obvious war propaganda.
This is at least the third pic of a cat with a good looking woman in (Ukrainian) military uniform I've seen in the past few days.
Had this been any other countries uniform I feel like people would have been more sceptical.
E-girls in uniform have been used to promote the IDF, the US armed forces and now Ukraine's military. I haven't seen rhe Russians do it but I wouldn't be surprised if they did. This is a propaganda tactic. I'm sure OP just thought the cat was cute but it is important to know propaganda when you see it.
Or the hind legs are directly behind the fore legs? So the paws are right next to each other? If it is Photoshop, it is a very phenomenal Photoshop, all the bloom around the fur is really realistic. And how hard would it be to just use a real cat? They aren't hard to come by.
The cat couldn't possibly be standing on her shoulder like that. The legs would be suspended in space behind her somehow. And it's clearly not sitting.
It's not even a decent photoshop. I don't care about the bloom around the fur. I care about the ridiculous impossible physics.
I do find this photo unsettling for basically the same reason you do, but don't you think there's an important distinction to be made between promoting an agressor and promoting a defender?
I don't think you're being fair. The person you're replying to obviously believes that this is being posted to promote the Ukranian military and would react the same to a photo they believe is promoting American police forces. The sweeping statements are the words you've put in their mouth. The least we could do is meet their argument on its own terms.
