The difference between a terrorist group and a resistance movement is whether or not they're US approved. That's it.
IDF killed vastly more people than hamas, and civilian/combatant ratio for idf is worse than for hamas. Thus hamas is more moral force in the conflict.
If 20,000 dead Palestinians were worth the cost for 1,200 dead Israelis in those people's eyes, then fuck them...

The thing is, Hamas doesn't actually have much in the way of presence in the West Bank.
All we have is the word of the IDF, because they arrested and disappeared anyone who could argue otherwise. It's not like they've been completely truthful in even the recent past.
Also, we know where Hamas was getting their money. It came in via unmarked suitcases of cash that the IDF allowed through the Gaza checkpoints.
Why do you think Hamas is doing what it's doing?
