I am very disappointed.

Noctua gang 🤝
37 0 ReplyJust need to mod out that PSU fan and it'll be perfect
12 0 ReplyThe case also needs a paint job

Downvoted for nod modding the PSU fan
32 0 ReplyIt's funny how those fans are a decent percentage of the whole build. They'll last a life time of builds though so well worth it imo.
21 0 ReplyThose are Noctua fans so a decent percentage of the price tag too lol. I count 22 that's like $600+ in just fans.
29 0 ReplyMine are all server grade, Sanyo, Fujikura, Nidec... fairly loud, but will last forever.

If I'm remembering the reviews of this case correctly it doesn't even have good airflow for all those fans.
4 0 ReplyThat makes sense to me... You really only want one path for the air flow. E g. In through the front, over the components, and out the back.
Most of the fans in this setup are just fighting against each other.

When the cooling consumes more wattage than the GPU
18 0 ReplyCan you compile stuff in parallel using a GPU?

I'll try compiling it now. Also, it took me a while to realize FF is Firefox.
Edit: It failed! I tried 2 times, it starts compiling, but after some time, I just find the terminal closed and it doesn't run. Anyways I won't bother with it, I only did it to torture my computer a little.
18 0 ReplyIt's obviously Final Fantasy.
22 0 ReplyFirefox only takes half an hour on my Ryzen 5800X desktop anyway. Modern CPUs can chew through those chunky compile jobs pretty quickly.
1 0 ReplyMight be the out of memory killer. For me, Mach (Firefox's build tool) usually did a multi-processed build assuming around 1 GB RAM per thread. Run .
/mach build -j10
to limit the build to e.g. 10 threads. Or setmk_add_options MOZ_PARALLEL_BUILD=10
in your config file.1 0 Reply
Where do you get the Final Fantasy source code. Asking for a friend (I'm not a cop btw, I swear)
12 0 ReplyThe one black PSU fan is throwing off the vibe. I can’t stop looking at it.
9 0 ReplyAt this point just screw an entire full size box fan to the side of the case as one of the panels.
9 0 ReplyContrary to the meme, it's probably very quiet, if they keep the RPMs low and the fans are arranged correctly
9 0 ReplyNot enough fans, I want it to ruin my hearing too
7 0 Replystill quieter than laptop fan

Sure is. If you can get bigger fans.
4 0 ReplyI'm surprised the CPU cooler is so small when they went to all that effort adding all those Noctuas.
3 0 ReplyYou don't need a big one if you got 20 more blowing left and right 😁.

If that's for FF, what about chromium?
4 5 ReplyCompiling chromium crashed my laptop lol
2 0 ReplyWith both X and Wayland support!
2 0 ReplyYeah, same thing.
