Because Reddit is a commercial product. It's expected to work.

Even on reddit after a decade I probably only had 100 subs.

This is exactly why I have a lemmy.world and a lemdro.id account. I keep them both logged into Voyager and just switch to the other when one goes down.

These last days I am mostly using my backup account... It's not getting better with lemmy.world sadly.
