[HN] Mac shipments grow 10%, as all major PC brands see downturns

Hardly surprising as the market is in decline. Computers tech hit a high during the Covid lock down era also, which will have saturated the market. This will result in less people needing a replacement.

Apple buyers tend to be more affluent or business orientated. People who are more cash restricted tend to take on the more savvy approach of the cheaper environment a PC gives. As times are hard atm, this opens up the fact that the more affluent will still be buying where as the less well off will not.
