I see tons of big SUVs but I haven't noticed them getting that much bigger. Maybe they are and it's a trick of perspective. But trucks appear like they are getting MUCH bigger. It's obscene and disgusting. Compact cars can reasonably tow 1,200lb loads. These gigantofucking trucks are not needed. People aren't pulling and storing tens of thousands of lbs of load every day. And if they are they need to register their damn business.
Every car segment has grown. Each size tier grew to the size of the next tier. Small cars are pretty much extinct and the cars that are marketed as small are the size of what used to be a medium car.
Yep. Toyota Corollas since 2002 have braked towing capacity of 1300kg. What do you fit in a normal trailer that's heavier than that anyway? Unless you're an incompetent landscaper that's constantly hauling gravel and dirt to and from job sites I can't think of why 1300kg wouldn't be sufficient.
Where i live suv's absolutely exploded. We only have really small parking spots or tight underground parking, seeing all these vig ass cars down there is pretty funny.
