The lack of a Tesla in the mix despite it being the most common EV by a significant margin strikes me as bizarre.

Tesla's range has been tested to death in optimal and real world drives.

It would have been a useful and interesting data point. Even if you don’t care for Tesla, you can see how the other cars square up against them.

Pretty sure the vehicles were provided by the automakers themselves. Given Tesla's recent range controversy, I doubt they'd want to participate.
