This summaries the problem with radlib perfectly. We should show it to as many liberals as possible, not that it would actually sway most of them but still, nothing bad can come from confronting them with their own hypocrisy.
I don't think that "progressive" is the right label to use here, i.e. for the rabid Biden-defenders and pro-Israel Democrats. Those are just your run-of-the-mill liberals.
Any support whatsoever for Biden is supporting genocide, rabid defenders or not; therefore, even promoting liberal democracy in the U.S. is, too, supporting genocide. I've seen plenty of "progressives," including social democrats, who condemn Hamas simply because they killed Israeli occupiers on October 7.
For many living in the Gaza Strip before 0ct 7, it was a fate worse than death. As for progressive politicians like Bernie Sanders, their vague support for Palestine is worthless. All these people want to help a subjugated group as long as they do not violently defend themselves. Also, the help progressive libs offer is to use liberal democracy, specifically voting, which is more than useless when it's that same system that is the cause of this situation.
A lot of them do consider themselves "progressives" though. They are progressive only in name, but they still think they are and behave as if just stating that they are "progressive" somehow makes them morally superior to others.
I think "progressive" in quotation marks, is the right way to put it (or better yet- "faux-progressive"). Because these liberals have painstakingly presented themselves as "progressive," and to define themselves as the "left," and their whole schtick is claiming to be the "lesser evil," and pretending like they aren't part of the problem.
