After years of saving up and searching, I finally snagged a Collings built and signed by Bill himself.

I doubt he built the whole thing himself, but he did part of it and personally signed it (which means it got his personal stamp of approval).

I met the man about fifteen years ago but I couldn't, even in my wildest dreams, afford one of his guitars. Today I got one.
