  I switched to K9 because Gmail started serving malicious, half-screen ads in their Android client. Slowly moving my whole life to ProtonMail.

  Yes, whenever that Thunderbird transition actually happens! I use Thunderbird on desktop, so I'm looking forward to seeing how that goes, but it's been a long time since it was announced, and is there even a date established?

I don't even get that spam, like there is no point in sending just emojies or ?
- A ZWNJ is a zero-width non-joiner, probably abused to format / align their email correctly but not rendered in the notification.
  
  I thought non-breaking space (&nbsp) was translated to Polish or something
  
  God we learned "tricks" like this in my HTML class. Last year. Just in case you're wondering why shit like this is still around.
  
  More likely it’s an attempt to get the preview text a lot of mailboxes show to not show extra content.
