psvr2 on my pc would be awesome, I've read the screen and tech is better than what's being offered on the index
- They should have done this to start, it was a pretty arrogant product launch. It hit at a good moment for VR gaming but added another walled garden right when people were looking to alternatives to Facebook.
- Agreed - having the PSVR1 I have little reason to buy the second gen, but making it work with PC would be much more appealing with its higher resolution and multi platform support. I really hope they can make it work
  
  They can make it work, but will they...they need to get their head out of their asses and realize they aren't really all that good when they restrict everything to some limited performance console.
Sony published a whopping 2 games for this headset. It should be absolutely no surprise to anyone that it's failing.
Should've embraced PC from the get-go.

Not affiliated with the product. Its linux based and not a walled garden afaik. In 5 yrs when sony drops support for the headset, you can still use this one.
- Holy fuck, that price though. How about an open source wireless VR headset that's...wait for it...just a headset, that runs on whatever computer you connect it to?
  
  Feel free to invent one I guess. I think we‘re basically in the same ballpark with that as we are with phones. Nicht qualifications needed and only proprietary players so far. Someone correct me if needed pls.

- That article is from Jan 2023 when Sony responded to a Bloomberg report that they had cut production due to lower than expected launch sales.
