No it's fucking not. Democrats - stupidly - believed that with Trump as the Republican candidate, it would be an easy campaign. Now they know better. 2016 != 2024. GTFO with this nonsense.
Any of the Republicans could have beaten Clinton. She completely ignored folks that were warning that she needed to pay more attention to the rust belt, and had zero folks going door to door in areas that Obama had made sure to turn out the vote.
It wasn’t that hard to predict as soon as she had the nomination.
That’s putting the cart before the horse. The media and democrats love him because it makes their jobs easier. He is here because the US is structured in a way that rewards his type of behavior

Trump IS being elevated, but by the media, not the Democrats. Trump was great for ad revenue in 2016 and 2020, and you really don't need to look much further than that.
