The pattern said to try needle felting, which I learned was just buying roving and stabbing into place over and over and over again. Like, a whole lot of stabbing lol

Needle felting indeed! First time I tried it, stabbing away went way better that expected 🤣
It's certainly a very satisfying craft :D
