In hindsight, I probably could have just called this event "March" - u/ShavingInCT

It's remarkable how much March Madness followed the usage percentages of the last few months. When nudged to reevaluate their soap maker preferences, members of this sub come to the same conclusion as in their unprompted day-to-day software decisions. The only upset to date was a 5 over 4 seed win, so nothing to write home about, and our last chance for an upset today is the same. 2 vs 1. Big whoop. Even with this outcome, March Madness is a lot of fun, and I'm looking forward to next year's instalment when we get a second chance ad being at least a little mad.

It was difficult not to stray back into my routine of #fougerefriday. Ben has created two solid fougères, Cerberus Fougère and Armonia, but unfortunately, neither are in Tusk. It was tempting to give in to any of the numerous B+M fougères: Gothique, Angelique, Classique, Beaudelaire, Fern, Vespers, Passiflora...
I went with a different kind of fresh, green scent, Alive. I have no complaints with this shave!
Regardless of how the championship turns out, this has been a fun event. Thank you u/ShavingInCT for hosting the event and to all those who supported it.
Terrific shave today. I'm certain BaM will take the day. BaM, TSP, and DG are the only soaps I was unable to use on competition days this month. Since I don't have a Talent Soap Factory soap (will rectify that), my "underdog" strategy forecast only BaM and TSP as unused soaps. There's no soap in the competition that I think is a weak entrant, but I thoroughly enjoyed the inaugural March Madness here on the sub.
