This is not a high effort bit, this 'youtuber' has already made a name for himself outsourcing his videos to other people writing scripts and running it through an AI model of his voice. He's almost certainly doing it as a proof of concept tech demo to sell the AI pipeline and consulting to other media agencies but yeesh
My job has been using AI-generated advertisement art recently and when I tried to explain to my coworkers why this was bad, the most I got was like "Huh, crazy." It's all fucked.
If it feels like we are barreling towards a banal Philip K Dickensian nightmare because of AI just remember that there's always potential for a Randall Munroe synthesis or a Deleuzian revolutionary horizon to emerge out of it.
