- Okay, so in the background is a Consolidated P2Y seaplane. Those were retired and withdrawn from service in 1941 and sent back to Naval Air Station Pensacola. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consolidated_P2Y
  
  So if it's 1942, then it has to be in Florida at least.
