Is there a FOSS app that can hide apps in my Launcher?
Just the title. Launcher: Kvaesitso Android 9 Honor 7x
Edit: I meant apps that are useless, like clutter and do not need to be opened once they are configured.
I still need those apps, like for the keyboard.
Lawnchair can hide, rename and change icons of app starters.
10 0 ReplyIn Kvaesitso, just go to the app list, long press the app, hit the three vertical dots in the corner of the pop-up, and select hide.
10 0 ReplyThanks. That was exactly what I needed.

On later Android versions, you can "disable" apps.
5 0 ReplyGrapaheneOS/CalyxOS/LineageOS can disable apps, so that they don't appear in the launcher at all. You simply have to re-enable to app from settings to use it.
Alternatively consider multiple phone users on android, put your sensitive apps in a different user account entirely.

Shelter can freeze or hide apps. But I think only in the work profile (Shelter) it creates. Not in the main profile.
