Dude's quadriplegic, can't fault him for giving it a go.
There are better options. Musk is just the one that doesn't care about safety.
What options? as far as I’m aware neuralink is the only company even close to human trials for this kind of tech
That might be why the other options are better. Patience is a virtue n all that.
The options:
- live with the conditions until the technology is developed to a reasonable degree of safety
- YOLO on neuralink and maybe have some pretty fucking bad complications that might actually leave you worse off. Or, you know, dead.
