Holy shit, Logan Sargeant Q3 lets gooo
14 0 ReplyThis aged well.
8 0 ReplyI wasn't really expecting much higher than 10th from him in Q3, so this isn't that bad if they can lineup tomorrow without taking any grid penalties
7 0 Reply
I don't want to get too far ahead, but I'd love to see a double points finish for Williams tomorrow.
1 0 ReplySun's out, I'm hoping we see some slicks

Logan better than Lewis, you read it here first! /s
13 0 ReplyAmerican dethrones British king of F1! USA! USA! USA!
4 1 ReplyThis didn't age well...

Nice two first two rows, with for different teams. Love it!
Edit: even better: 6 different teams at the first 3 rows :)
12 0 ReplySuper happy to see the two Williams making it to Q3
11 0 ReplyRussell sounded legitimately excited for them too!

Norris 👏👏
Albon 👏👏👏👏👏 mega effort
10 0 ReplyYay Williams! Nice going..
7 0 ReplyMcLarens and Williams loving the wet again
7 0 ReplyMhm, and also high downforce, low speed tracks (relatively speaking).
4 0 ReplyAm I misremembering? I thought Williams' strong suite was high speed tracks before the break.
Either way, Albon is always good in wet conditions.

So happy to see Sergeant make it into Q3, even with the crash. It'll be good for his confidence.
This weekend has been awesome so far and I'm not just saying that because I'm a Williams fan.
7 0 ReplyThis really has been a good qualifying! Hopefully the race is just as exciting tomorrow.

HAM beaten by SGT, time to retire 💀
/S
7 0 ReplyFerraris are looking strange today. Locking up and sliding eveywhere
6 0 ReplyThat's at least the third time that's happened to Leclerc today.
3 0 ReplyBetween the two of them they have missed the first corner 4+? Times.
This could just be an extension of leclerc's habbit of pushing beyond what is possible
3 0 Reply
Looks moist
6 0 ReplyThat's what.. someone said.
4 0 Reply
That heli cam with the speed information is fantastic!
6 0 ReplyThe difference between Max and Perez is similar to the difference between Albon and Logan.
5 0 ReplyLeclerc has about had it with Ferrari..
5 0 ReplyWhen is he out of contract?
3 0 ReplyAfter 2024.
4 0 ReplyThey need to clean house with their strategy department
2 0 Reply
Sainz, realizing McLaren will be a threat, tries to innocently take them out. Clever.
5 0 ReplyBoth Williams in Q3!
4 0 ReplyIs this the first Q2 for Sargeant?
4 0 ReplyAlex Jacques just said this is his 3rd Q2 appearance
5 0 ReplyI was wondering the same thing.. think it might be.
Edit: 3rd time, apparently.
4 0 Reply
Albon and that Williams really love these conditions, on this track.
4 0 ReplyI'm so happy to see McLaren making a strong showing after the last few years. Excluding Redbull, I think the second half of the season is theirs to lose.

RIP
4 0 ReplyShortest Q3 debut for anyone?
Edit: couldn't find stats. I remember at least one driver crashing in Q2 but making it through for the first time though.

Kinda surprised to hear the optimism about Ricciardo coming back next year despite the injury.
3 0 ReplyDo we know how severe the injury is, yet? It didn't seem that bad, and it would be harsh to dismiss him for missing a couple of races this season. If Lawson wins today, he might be in trouble, though.
3 0 ReplyIt was broken, right?
1 0 ReplyAlphaTauri CEO Bayer said the bone is full broken through. Which sounds bad.

What did Leclerc set on the top of the car before he removed the wheel?
It sort of looked like a Ferrari branded tape measure.
3 0 ReplySeatbelt buckle. All the harnesses clip into one central point on F1 belts iirc. I think it’s normally left attached to one of the over the shoulder belts
2 0 ReplyAh, you're definitely right. I had no idea they could be removed entirely, I thought they were permanently attached to one of the straps.
2 0 Reply
Hoping to see some slicks
2 0 ReplyWe're definitely going to see some in Q3
1 0 Reply
Both Williams made it into Q3. Lets go!
2 0 ReplyWhy did they take out Lewis that early? Did they think “P9 is safe, good enough” while there were still drives on the course?
2 0 ReplyHe pushed his second to last lap. I don't know why they didn't do another warm up and push on the last one. Weird call
2 0 Reply
Maybe rain will come during the red flag and Williams will lock out the front row? Please? I'm desperate.
2 0 ReplyIts a shame because they were actually competitive in these conditions, but on a dry track, not so much
2 0 Reply
Good shit Sargeant
2 0 ReplyI feel like I'm watching a nature documentary with all these super close ups.
2 0 ReplyDamn verstappen always pulls shit out of the bag when it is needed. Also piastri bungeled it when it mattered the most
2 0 ReplyWhat was that accident? It looked like he understeered but just didn't react to it?
1 0 ReplySo the intermediate runners got away with the dodgy call then, since nobody apart from Albon got a good lap in on the softs
1 0 ReplyWatching the on-board camera at this track is so cool. It really shows how big some of the hills are.
1 0 ReplyYeah I get what they mean when they say it's a rollercoaster.

DC asking what a crane is called LOL
2 1 ReplyGrabby thingy

Oh boy, sticking with inters for the final lap seems risky.
