Well, it is
- I found it compelling to watch, but not exciting. Kind of in the same way Mr Rogers and Bob Ross held my attention without much happening. Something very real about it.
I take personal offense
- I take personal defense. I watched Doug all the time as a kid and remember none of it.

  I remember waiting for something better to come on. The show must have just tested well with mothers.
If Doug didn't want to be boring then he shouldn't have broken Mr. Dink's grill.
