Harvard University’s governing board rejected an effort from faculty Wednesday to allow a group of 13 students sanctioned due to their participation in pro-Palestine protests to receive their degre…
I'm a dumbass, but wouldn't that technically be a form of theft? The students paid to goto school, did everything they needed to graduate but because the board is afraid of Israel they're gonna deny them their right to graduate because they're against genocide.
I think if the faculty support the students graduating, you know the people more likely to interact with the students, that should be enough, but a bunch ofnuseles nepo baby's who have financial interests in Israel can screw you for doing something universities an well known for doing, protesting.. America needs an intervention.
I’d be interested in the contract wording… there may be grounds for people to demand a refund from these schools. And not just those that are denied graduation.
That said, putting “Harvard: DNF*”
*exemplary record but was denied graduation for protesting genocide
Would probably do just as well in international academia and the workplace as having a graduation transcript.
