California has set up a permanent task force of National Guard members to do what used to be occasional work fighting and preventing wildfires.

Wrong. Eventually everything flammable will burn away and they wont have anything to worry about.
6 4 ReplyIt doesn't work that way. You let unmanaged burns happen and it converts forest to chaparral and chaparral to grasslands. The resulting plant communities grow a lot when it rains, and then burn when they dry out
