I’ll believe “no one is above the law” when he gets a year of prison time per conviction. Until then, it’s safe to assume there is one set of laws for us plebs and another for rich, white fascists.
Not holding my breath for anything remotely resembling justice.
The maximum penalty in NY for one of those 34 felonies is 4 years in prison. So, 136 years total, if served consecutively, 4 years if he can serve them at the same time. I bet he doesn’t even get a day, or a fine he actually pays.
First conviction, they'd be concurrent and highly unlikely he'd get max time. However, this is a first conviction, breaking the glass ceiling for convicting an ex president, in the weakest of the four current trials. Sentences become more likely to be jail up to minimum guaranteed imprisonment for some time, because of sentencing guidelines, as well as the terms getting longer for each conviction.
What would happen if I were to......oh, I don't know........use maps from the 2020 election results to find cities that voted exclusively trump. From there use census data to show which areas in these cities have the densest population. Then use google maps to search those areas for large apartments. Then go to that building, go to the lobby, and take pictures of their mail slots, so I know which apartments have which names. Now go back home, and I fill this website out like 700 times so that everybody in that building gets an unrequested sticker?
I wonder if his prison sentence will end similar to Epstein, or it has a Trump twist. I imagine a scenerio where a guard "accidentally" drops the key infront of his cell, the cameras are off, and every guard is distracted, but he still manages to fuck up and get lost inside the prison. Resulting in a comical yet massive prison escape, as he attempts to swoon the prisoners with freedom, in exchange for their loyal support, which is basically finding the exit.
