15 1 ReplyIt’s really sad these days that “my algorithmic feed didn’t show me an article about this thing” has become equated with “no one is talking about this thing”. So many of us live in our little bubbles but still think that it’s fifty years ago and we all read the same three newspapers. We get fed different content based on what we consume; that’s a fact of modern media. If you want to know what’s out there, you need to search for it.

But fediverse is deff grade above normal socials, people engage and bring reciepts!
Refreshing to be able to learn!

7 17 ReplyHistorical, yes. They have recently realized that Russia does not have their back and the relationship has changed.
14 5 ReplyNo doubt and good policy shift imho but west ain't gonna save them now, they really can't.
Their best bet is Iran who can actually do something and has a reason to do so but that's another mistake tbh too.
Not really sure what Armenia can do at this point since Azerbaijan appears to be on a war path and has capability to execute.

Russia is withdrawing troops from Armenia
Armenia doesn't support the war in Ukraine
Armenia had a war with Azerbaijan which was supplied with weapons by Belarus, which is closely integrated with Russia
8 2 ReplyStudy a little bit of the history of great power alliances and the group of "historically allied with Russia" becomes pretty large.

10 1 ReplyYeah Armenia was part of the russia empire and USSR before for 170 years before that and still chose to ally with its oppressor lol
