Bypassing phone number requirements?
  • I've recently been looking into mysudo. For $1 a month you can get 1 number as well as some extra stuff if you care about that.

You can use it without Google services if running GrapheneOS but it takes a second normal phone and a throwaway Google account to work. Incoming notifications don't work but if used as a spam number that's probably a good thing lol. Haven't pulled the trigger on it but seems like something I will probably set up at some point

  • Bypassing phone number requirements?
  • SMS is unencrypted, insecure, and not private to begin with. Your SIM provider can see everything you send plus track you via cell towers.

As someone who is currently de-googling my own stuff I understand but wanting google services but please don't think it being Google is why it's not Privacy focused.

  • What brought you to Lemmy?
  • I heard about Lemmy with the Reddit debacle but didn't think much of it. Then I got a Pixel 7 Pro to run GrapheneOS on and while searching droidify I found Voyager and thought I should check out Lemmy.

Its taken some effort figuring out how this shit works but I think I'll stick around for a bit

  • Is there a way to pirate audible audiobooks?
  • It's been a while since I signed up but I don't remember showing them anything that I was seeding. They just ask questions that you get from reading the rules before you do the interview.

You don't even have to seed to 1.0 just for 3days. The site is easy af to maintain good stats on cause they're main thing is sharing over dick measuring.

The staff and people in the CB are always nice and it's a chil community. It you have any common sense about torrents you'll do just fine.
