Yeah, they didnt work for some reason. I'm not very sure if any program other than supertuxkart and the vkcube test can run on my discrete gpu🤷

With firefox maybe you need to change something in "about:config" and restart?

I didnt change anything in those settings, but since not even kate opened, about:config probably isn't the issue😅

Well, my discrete gpu isnt that good anyways, so it's not that big of a loss

Does your discrete gpu run any other apps? I figured out that my discrete gpu seems to only run SuperTuxKart (not even firefox-beta or Kate). It seems very incompatible or something

I noticed too. It happens, because the cursor is "turned on" in the search field (the 2nd tab) when you search something, but doesn't turn off automatically. It keeps waiting for input.

Tapping on a result will turn it off and will no longer open the keyboard after going back from a post of viewing an image. Clearing the app from recents also has the same effect.

I have only managed to convince a part of my family to use signal when talking to me (another relative seems to be somewhat using it too, so that's a bit convenient to have them keep using it), but apart from that almost no-one got convince to use it or left it after like a week of usage.

At least there's simpleX now which has a lower entry barrier (just a username), so I might have better luck with it.

May I ask, what is that for? Does it allow you to run apps with DRI_PRIME=1 from command line?

(So far, I think my gpu might only be able to run supertuxkart with thr discrete gpu using the DRI_PRIME=1 command prefix.)

Edit: I tried it and I still can't launch kate, firefox-beta etc. with my gpu. Only supertuxkart somehow seems to be working (and the vkcube test). Thanks for trying to help!
