That's good information. Like I said, I have not used it.

My issue with them is that they have repeatedly changed their privacy policy. They started with self hosting Matomo for analytics without announcing it, including in the changelog then went to Google again, no mention . both times they got called out, then made an announcement.

Doesn't eOS use microG or something to get around that?

I have never used eOS because they are always behind on security patches, but I had always heard it worked Ok.

Yes, but there's nothing in the modlog I could find, and I don't seem to be banned from all their shitty communities. As far as I know I never had any interaction with them, or the instance.

I'm not a mod but... I have been banned from 7 different communities I never knew existed, much less commented in. Seems like it's possible.
