The story is cute, took a little to get into it, but I'm invested now! Gameplay is a bit buggy. The game has closed down due to an error 5 times within as many hours, loading between parts of the maps takes forever, and often you need to wait before the area has fully loaded before doing interaction such as knocking on doors or picking vegetables. There is automatic saving, but I tend to now save whenever I think of it, so I loose as little progress as possible whenever it shuts down again. Still, you never loose much progress, just some walking distance most of the time
I think it serves a purpose. In the Netherlands you don't get plastic bags for free anywhere anymore, so everyone I know tends to have some with them to reuse, instead of amassing huge amounts at home in a bag-bag
So you don't think it just may have been scary? Kids get scared early on, but being able to imagine what other people are feeling, and therefore feeling that too (empathy) comes later
That's how merriam webster pronounces it! I'd pronounce it like that as well, got curious, so I googled
