  • That's because of where those deaths are. I've seen 2 cases of active TB working in hospitals in the US in almost 20 years. Both from new immigrants. Sadly it's "mostly" a third world illness.

  • I flew on a Delta 737 with duct tape everywhere. Was delayed. Then an Airbus 321 and because of delay they shut off the engines. But then the auxiliary power unit wouldn't start to restart the engines and had to be towed back to the gate. I'm wondering who maintains thaes planes anymore, sketchy all around....

  • Are they sure? I drained liquid water off of our outdoor pool the first week of February. A place where the record low at that time of year is -60F. That seems pretty normal to me. Probably not a fluke as the weather was 30-60F for weeks. Pretty standard really, Even for the nearly half a century I have lived here.
