Is it possible to add a disk to a LVM on LUKS setup?

As title says.

I've followed this guide, everything is working as desired but I got myself thinking if it'd be possible in the future to add a second nvme (I have a 1 TB nvme now). I've googled a little but all that I found so far apparently was about expanding the very same drive used in the installation, not adding a second one.

Could anyone more experienced tell me if that's is possible in this context and, if so, point me in the right direction?

Is it possible to save the position?
  • I believe I may have some issue with this phone... As I commented on another thread, it's been taking a long time to start every time I reboot it or turn it off and on. The animations when I switch apps also have been pretty slow (just to you have in mind, when I unlock it that 3 navigation buttoms in the bottom takes between 1 to 2 secs just to show up. And that same sluggish feeling when doing other tasks also. I've tried to swipe the cache partition a couple of weeks ago, but it didn't seem to work. The interesting part is that it wasn't that slow. As for the battery, yes, it wasn't unrestricted but I configured it that way as suggested by another user here.

I thought about doing a factory reset, but I have a couple of apps (banks, etc) that prevent me doing that...

Anyway, I've noticed that it isn't a Boost related issue and I don't want to bother you guys any further with possible Android issues in a no related community.

    I do appreciate everyone's help.

  • Is it possible to save the position?
  • Thanks for helping.

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy A32. And now that I'm looking more closely to its behavior I noticed that it's not only Boost that does that.

Anyway, the funny part is that some apps (Sync for Lemmy being one of these) seems to never loose its state, no matter what I do.

  • Is it possible to save the position?
  • You know what? I think you may be right... Boost seems to reload each time I switch apps. But that's funny, because that behavior doesn't happen with Sync, for example. In order to test I'm using both (and a couple of other apps too). Each time I come back to Sync it's exactly in the point I left. When coming back to Boost I reloads and I go to the top of the posts.

  • Is it possible to save the position?
  • Thank you for the suggestion.

I like using this app. That's why I'm asking if it already has the feature I need or, if not the case, if it could be implemented so that it becomes even better to use.

  • Is it possible to save the position?

Hello, all. Does Boost has any option to save the position I'm currently in? It's pretty annoying when I'm reading some post, need to switch apps and when come back to Boost it just goes all up to the top again.

In fact I know it's possible because I've seen this feature in other Lemmy apps, so I imagined Boost already had and I was just missing some further configuration?

    Tv box recommendations?
  • Kodi / LibreELEC has add-ons available to most of the most popular streaming services. The trouble is that it hasn't the necessary licenses for playing content in the best resolutions (the same goes with most browsers). I myself have a Homatics R 4k Plus (which is a licensed box) and installed CoreELEC. When using Android I can stream my content in the highest resolutions (Star Plus, HBO Max and Disney Plus) but when using CoreELEC I can't.

  • Why Personal Cloud Storage is so bad on Linux?
  • I second that.

With the additional advantage that rclone has modules like crypt and join, which allows you to keep your data encrypted no matter which cloud you use, gaining more cloud space by joining clouds, etc.

  • Is it possible to follow users?

Not sure if that's the right place to ask, but I used to use Boost for Reddit and I was able to follow people (I don't know if this was a Reddit or a Boost feature).

Is it possible to follow users in Lemmy? The only options I see are to either block or msg user.

[Feature Request] Add a "Copy link" option to the menu

I usually copy the links of the attached files I want and then use the corresponding tool to download them (gallery-dl, yt-dlp, whatever).

I noticed that there's an option "Copy Permalink" on the menu. The thing is this option links to the post itself (something like https://lemmy.world/post/1631662, for example), which doesn't work when there are external files attached to the post (files from Reddit, Youtube, etc). So that I have to necessarily go the post and only then I'll have the desired link.

Would it be possible to add an option "Copy Link" to the menu which links to the attached data and not the permanent post? It would be much appreciated.
